with Windows Media Player, i can't even see the MKV files.(eventhough i've installed the DIVX Plus player which supposed help to stream HD MKV.but mostly for Windows Media Player device like XBOX360.not some chaplang made in china HD Player). So it might not be a Wireless G limitation?Īnother way to do it, is to stream using UPNP method.ala from Windows Media Player or TVersity or some other streaming server. Yes, i know Wireless-G might not have enough throughput for a HD MKV file.but the thing is, if i use my Laptop to play the file (also via Wireless G), it's fine!!! The bigger problem sets in, trying to play a file directly via file sharing on my HD Media player over Wireless G.lags like mad. Ok, now that's out of the way (No.Win 7 branded players can do this? ACRYAN, ASUS etc? Pls provide some feedback). I've set up a virtual XP PC using Win XPMODE and it runs fine. Initially, i wasn't able to login to my server and other PCs on the network eventhough i can see them.finally, i realized, it's becoz all my PCs are on Windows 7. But when sharing across the network, that's where the problem begins. So far, the player is fine (can run all the files i throw at it.mostly 720p and some 1080p MKV files). My intentions are:ġ) To be able to share HD files from my server(aka ATOM PC.LOL) and play it on the media player. Recently i've purchased a CLAMUL HD movie player with a WIFI G USB card. Ok, i need some help and thoughts on this.
